HOPKINSVILLE, Kent.

"Hammer has had a great 2007! The Black Widow series is the hottest series in Hammer history. Doug Kent and Billy Oatman won honors on Tour. It's just been fantastic," said Brian Graham, brand manager. "What better way to celebrate this year and usher in the new one than a huge party with a few hundred Hammerheads?"

T he event kicks off on New Year's Eve with the Hammer Singles Challenge at Clancy's Village Bowl. Also an inaugural tournament, the Hammer Singles Challenge will pay a top prize of $1000 in the Singles and Doubles Event with 100 entries. Bowlers are invited to Stryker's Sports Pub inside the center for drinks, food, music and prizes from Hammer. Hammerhead Happy Hour begins after the tournament and a live band will play from 9 p.m. - 2 a.m.

On the first day of 2008, bowlers can cruise over to Munsee Lanes for the Hammer Hangover Doubles Tournament. With an anticipated first prize of $1000 and a one in six prize ratio, bowlers who are still ringing in the New Year can take advantage of five available squad times.
