Black Widow Bite
HOPKINSVILLE, Kent. – Hammer bowlers hit hard and take no prisoners. It’s about winning and that’s all. Just ask Hammer Amateur Staffer Shawn Lee. Lee bowled a 300 during the last game of the team event at the USBC Nationals on Tuesday, July 1.
“Shawn used the Black Widow mantra to strike down the competition,” said Jeff Ussery, Hammer brand manager. “The Black Widow Bite gave him the hook and deadly backend bite for a no holes barred fight to the finish.”
The 32-year-old Denver resident has been bowling since he was eight years old. He bowled on the men’s team at the University of Nebraska and has been on the Hammer Staff for four years now. Throughout his career, he has bowled 16 300-games and eight 800-series.
“I love being a part of the Hammer staff. There’s a family atmosphere and a close-knit community that is unique to this brand,” Lee said. “Hammer has awesome products. Every year they come out with something new that tops the rest. It just fits my game perfectly.”
