| MOMENTUM FOR HAMMER'S DIESEL, BLADE LINES CONTINUES TO BUILD |

| HOPKINSVILLE, Kent. – If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it. According to
Hammer Bowling, the same adage holds true for bowling balls and that’s
why the company is continuing to expand its Diesel and Blade lines with
two new performance ball introductions: the Big Block Diesel and Switch
Blade.
“Both the Diesel and Blade ball series are extremely popular
performance ball lines,” said Brian Graham, Hammer brand manager. “We
are very excited to introduce two great looking balls that provide
great performance.”
Big Block Diesel is the most hooking reactive resin ball in the Hammer
arsenal. Featuring the high-revving core found in the original Diesel
and a versatile reactive coverstock, Big Block Diesel builds power in
the midlane and finishes with a strong continuous roll. Big Block
Diesel is Red/Blue in color and is offered in 12 – 16 pounds.
The Navy Blue/Purple Switch Blade, in 10 – 16 pounds, is the best
choice for an all-purpose ball in the Blade series. With a classic
Hammer core with added flip block and the Vicious Power Grip reactive
coverstock, Switch Blade produces a strong, controlled arc with
explosive power into the pins.
Both balls will be available from distributors and pro shops in June
2004.
