HAMMER STEALS GAINES FROM EBONITE

Hopkinsville, KY - Ebonite International is the fastest growing bowling manufacturer today. With the recent acquisition of Hammer, the company expects revenues and production to soar in 2002-2003. Ebonite International plans to meet demand by adding two new positions and five new district sales managers.

Ed Gallagher, currently the district sales manager of the northeast, has been promoted to product manager for Hammer. A four-year veteran of the Ebonite International family, Gallagher is a proven performer and leader in Ebonite’s sales growth over the past few years. As product manager for Hammer, he will oversee all product development and introductions.

"Ed is young, he's aggressive, and he has demonstrated his ability to perform for Ebonite International," said Bob Reid, Ebonite International's vice president of marketing. "We look forward to working with him to develop quality product."

Southwest district sales manager Scott McMillian will become Ebonite International’s field sales manager. A newly created position, the field sales manager will oversee the sales of Ebonite, Hammer, Robby’s and Vantage Parts and coordinate the sales efforts of the company’s district sales managers. During his 19 years with Ebonite, McMillian has not only been a performer for Ebonite but also has gained the confidence of distributors and pro shop owners throughout the industry.
