The new Vicious Particle will no doubt brighten up bowling centers with an 'in your face' attitude. The second in the Vicious series, the Vicious Particle, is a high performance ball for bowlers who are looking for an intense angle on the heaviest conditions. It is 'condition read' for longer and heavier oil patterns. "The new Vicious Particle is a complement to the Vicious series because it represents attitude and performance, which defines Hammer," said Ed Gallagher, product manager for Hammer. "The Vicious Particle is for the bowler who wants an angular reaction and relentless power through the pins." The core of the Vicious Particle is a Black 2001 Inner Core shape, wrapped within an outer core, and capped with a 'pancake' style flip-block. The addition of the 'pancake' style flip-block to the core design improves the angularity of the Vicious Particle at the breakpoint. It features the PowerGrip Particle ER29 veneer coverstock and comes in a combined green/yellow color with a factory finish of 15 micron. Available in 12, 13, 14, 15 and 16 pounds, the Vicious Particle will be in pro shops in August 5th.
