HOPKINSVILLE, Kent.
(August 9, 2006) Hammer has signed a sponsorship agreement with "The BTM" Tournament for 2007, announced
Brian Graham, Hammer brand manager.
"Sponsoring "The BTM" is yet another way that Hammer is reaching out
to bowlers on a grassroots level," said Graham. "We're excited about
the opportunity to work with Jim King and Rick Ramsey's staff to make
this tournament a must-bowl event next year."
A scratch event being held February - July at Reno's High Sierra Lanes,
"The BTM" has a top regular singles prize of $5,000, a top regular
doubles prize of $4000, and a top seniors singles prize of $3,000,
among other divisions. "The BTM" is expected to draw over 4,000
bowlers, all entrants will receive a free subscription to Bowling This
Month magazine and the opportunity to take advantage of ball specials
on site.
"Partnering with Hammer is a no-brainer for "The BTM"," said Jim King,
tournament coordinator. "We needed someone who was aggressive; someone
who would actively spread the word and gain more exposure for the
tournament. We've seen Hammer do exactly that with their equipment
brand and we know they'll do the very same for "The BTM"."
Strict eligibility requirements apply. Those interested in entering
"The BTM" should visit www.bowlingthismonth.com for more
