HOPKINSVILLE, Kent.
Ebonite International recently added Scott Hayes as the
company's district sales manager in Indiana, Kentucky, western Ohio and Michigan,
announced national field sales manager, Scott McMillan. Jeff Lizzi, who has served
in that role for two years, is leaving the company to join his brother, John,
in managing the family's bowling center in Ohio.
"We're sorry to lose Jeff, but we understand and respect his decision to turn
his attention to his family's bowling center," said McMillan. "Jeff will always
remain a member of the Ebonite family and we're appreciative of his accomplishments
while working as a DSM."
"Gratefully, our search for a new DSM was short-lived. We've known Scott for
years through both competitive bowling and as a pro shop manager. He's a great
fit for the company and will be an excellent representative of Ebonite International's
brands out in the field. Please join us in welcoming Scott to the Ebonite International
sales team."
Hayes, a resident of Hazel Park, Mich., has been a member of Ebonite's PBA Regional
staff and a pro shop manager for a number of years. A Cum Laude graduate of Vincennes
University's Bowling Lanes Management Program, Hayes has also been employed as
a bowling center mechanic, center manager and a bowling coach. He has headed several
Ebonite Demo Days and Hammer Challenges, tested prototype balls for the PBA Tour
and has coached Special Olympics participants during Pro-Am tournaments.
Hayes can be reached via email at shayes@ebonite.com.
Based in Hopkinsville, Kent., Ebonite International is a privately-owned company
