Team USA member, Rhino Page of Clovis, CA found the right combination to unlock the vault at High Sierra Lanes to win the 5th annual "The BTM" tournament presented by Bowling This Month. The Sport Certified tournament is conduced each year in conjunction with the USBC Open Championships using a flat oil pattern that tests a bowler's shotmaking skills and patience. Page shot 925 for his winning 4-game score and was closely followed by former Team USA member Dan Nadeau of Grand Junction, CO. who had a 922. Duane Sandvick, Mandan, ND shot 900 to win the Senior Singles while Gary Dickinson, Edmond, OK came out on top of a talented Super Senior division.

Veteran BTM bowlers Anthony Jordan of Sycamore, IL. and Peter Spreadbury, Oak Forest, IL recorded their first "The BTM" championship as they teamed up to shot 1747 to earn the $5000 top prize. Ed Roberts, Braintree, MA and Gordan Stran, Reading, MA teamed up to win the Senior Doubles.

Curtis Woods, Rohnert Park, CA and Lee Brosius, Centreville, VA were successful in hitting the Peppermill Jackpot when they each had a clean four game block, no open frames, during the tournament. Each will receive $5000.00 for their $10 investment. The Peppermill Hotel and Casino will continue sponsoring this portion of the tournament in Albuquerque.

Other 2007 "The BTM" champions include, Tom Hess, Urbandale, IA in 8-game regular and Terry Leong, Henderson, NV in 8-game Senior division. Jan Schmidt, Naperville, IL and Keith Garrett, Hainesville, IL teamed up to win the Mixed Doubles. Dan Nadeau and Terry Leong were victorious in the Recruiter Doubles. Rhino Page also won the new alibi singles.

The 2008 event will be hosted by Leisure Lanes in Albuquerque starting in mid February and running through June, 2008. The 2008 event will again be contested on a flat oil condition and USBC Sport Certified. A complete list of all cashers in The BTM are posted at www.bowlingthismonth.com.
