HAMMER ADDS NEW TOOLS TO ARSENAL
Hammer’s latest addition to its Tool series brings a new Wrench to bowlers’ toolboxes.
The Wrench uses the same M.P.A. core as the Brick. The cover, Grand Theft ReactiveTM III Pearl, was recently used on the Taboo Jet Black, a high performance Hammer product. GTRIII provides the biggest skid/flip motion in the Hammer line.
“The Ratchet provided Hammer bowlers with a new asymmetric core motion,” said Jeff Ussery, Hammer Brand Manager. “The new Wrench provides a similar motion, but with even more skid/flip because of the GTRIII cover. This ball is really going to give bowlers some opportunity in the back end that they haven’t had before.”
The Wrench’s surface has a 2000 grit Abralon® finish to turn through the mid-lane on oil patterns, with added PowerhouseTM Factory Finish polish to give the ball just the right length.
Bowler Les Mann, a member of the Hammer video staff, was impressed with the response of the ball.
“I really liked this ball at the video shoot,” said Mann. “For a ball with a pearl cover, it was very smooth down the lane. It didn’t overreact to the friction. This ball is going to work well for me on short to medium patterns, and after the lanes start to break down.”
The new Hammer Wrench will be available in 12-16 lbs. December 4th, through Hammer pro shop partners worldwide.
