HAMMER BOWLING, PATRICK ALLEN PART WAYS AFTER RECORD-SETTING YEAR
05/18/2005
Hammer Bowling and PBA Tour staffer, Patrick Allen, have agreed to mutually part ways after Allen’s personal best year on the PBA Tour, announced Brian Graham, Hammer brand manager.
"Patrick has been an outstanding ambassador for Hammer while on Tour, "said Graham. "With his incredible year, Patrick has proved that Hammer can truly perform at the highest level of the sport. We wish him the best in the future."
At the close of the 2004-2005 season, Allen was squarely in the running for PBA Player of Year. He lead the Tour in points (256,166), over $350,000 in earnings and tied for first in championship round appearances. He won the Denny’s World Championship, Birmingham Open and Dallas Open and placed second at the U.S. Open and the Miller High Life Masters. Allen, a Tarrytown, New York resident, has been a Hammer Tour staffer for three years.
