HAMMER NEWSHAMMER RATCHETS UP THE COMPETITION07/10/2012
Every bowler is searching for the perfect tool to add to their bowling toolbox. Hammer’s new Ratchet will fill that hole in any bowler’s bag. Ratchet uses a version of the M.P.A. core, with a density modification designed to lower the RG and raise the differential. “With the changes to the core for the Ratchet, Hammer bowlers have a new asymmetric core motion,” said Jeff Ussery, Hammer Brand Manager. “Paired with a hybrid version of the Grand Theft Reactive™ II coverstock, used on the Taboo Dark Electric Blue/Silver, the Ratchet is a great fit between the Taboo and Arson series ball performances.” The Ratchet’s surface has a 3000 grit Abralon® finish to turn through the mid-lane on medium to medium-heavy oil patterns, with a sharper downlane recovery. “I’m really excited to have the Ratchet in our product line this year to fight heavier oil patterns,” Hammer PBA Staff Player Bill O’Neill said. “I threw it at the ITRC during Team USA training camp, and it killed it on every pattern longer than 39’.” The new Hammer Ratchet will be available in 12-16 lbs. August 14th, through Hammer pro shop partners. « Go Back ----------------------
