Hammer staff player shoots 853 with Cherry Vibe

Hammer Regional staff player Les Mann recently bowled an 853 series using the Hammer Cherry Vibe bowling ball.
Mann, who is involved with the Hammer-sponsored TNBA, was bowling in the Thursday Diet Coke Summer League on Aug. 12, at Sto-Kent Fun Family Bowling Center when he threw games of 266, 300 and 287 for a series total of 853.
Mann, who works at Cutting Edge Pro Shop in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio, had been using the newest Midnight Vibe because of the dry lane conditions typical of this house, he said.
“But because things were a little firmer that night, I had to switch to the Cherry Vibe,” Mann said.
Regardless of which Hammer bowling ball Mann used, Hammer Brand Manager Jeff Ussery is just glad that a Regional player is finding success with Hammer equipment.
“We make bowling balls with the intent that bowlers — whether they are staff bowlers or just someone who bowls for fun — have success with our products,” Ussery said. “Congratulations to Les for throwing such a great set.”
