ZAFFINO WINS PBA CENTRAL/MIDWEST REGION EASTOWN RECREATION OPEN

Jasper, Ind. (February 26, 2012) – Jeff Zaffino of Warren, Pa. defeated David Williams, Jr. of Omaha, Neb., by 222 pins to win the Professional Bowlers Association Central/Midwest Region Eastown Recreation Open presented by Hammer at Eastown Recreation Sunday.

Zaffino finished with an 11-1 match play record and a total of 5,104 pins for 20 games, including match play bonus pins. The title was Zaffino’s first of the year in the PBA Central Region and his 16th career PBA Regional title. He earned $2,000 along with his title.

The next PBA Central Region event will be in Hubbard, Ohio, March 16-18.
