Rip'd Pearl

When we released the Rip’D and Rip’D solid, they were instant successes. Naturally, for the 3rd ball in the line, we wanted to create a ball that combined the best qualities from each of the first two. With the Aggression Pearl CFI Coverstock and three-step 3000 grit finish, this Rip’D will get through the front of the lane with ease, still read the mid-lane and give a strong backend motion.

With Hammer’s patent-pending carbon fiber infused coverstock and outer core, this Rip’D carries Hammer’s three-year warranty.

Hammer Tough Scrub is recommended to keep the Rip'D Pearl performing at its best.

OMG!!! Hits like a MAC truck

I've been away from bowling for just over 7 years before I decided join a fall league this year. My old equipment wasn't getting the job done, even though it was a Jigsaw. I picked up the RIP'd pearl used from my local pro-shop. Drill pattern is pin over fingers for length and being a down and end bowler, it's the perfect layout for my. Last week I bowled my 2nd highest series in over 25 years of bowling; 778 (288, 211, 279). This ball is AMAZING and carries like nothing I've ever thrown before. Thank you Hammer for another great product. I'm looking forward to adding a few honor scores to my mantel in the years to come.

Love It!!!!

Rid’D Pearl is a very versatile ball. I have been able to play this on heavy to light oil conditions. The cover definitely carry’s the ball through the mid lane and break in backend. Depending on lane conditions I play on I may have to move at most 5 boards. The core carries through the pins no problem at all. It’s also a very forgiving ball if you miss your mark by 5 boards, as I’ve done plenty of times, by cutting back in the dry areas or carrying through the oil to hold your line. Took me about 6 games to figure out the line for this but when I did I watched my avg go from 160 to 181 and rising. Since owning this ball I have had better confidence that the ball will do what it’s supposed to as advertised!

You need one!

The Rip'd Pearl is a nice compliment to the Rip'd Hybrid and Rip'd Solid. For me, the Pearl reads the mid lane well and is not overly flippy in the back. Out of the box, it's not the Pearl shine that we're used to seeing but this piece will respond well on medium oil patterns. On drier patterns this ball will still be in play but a little shine will give ultimate results.

Most aggressive Ripd to date

The Ripd pearl is unique in that it is a pearl finished with some surface. To me, the addition of surface really blended the mids out well, which is something that pearls aren’t generally known for. Not only did it blend the middle part of the lane, it still had a ton of backend motion when it reached the end of the pattern. I see this Ripd come into play when my Ripd hybrid is just not enough on the backend, and my Ripd Solid is just a bit too early. A great tournament piece, and really stands out on house shined up!
