Black Widow Mania

I love this ball. It’s cleaner than the Black Widow 3.0, but more bite on the back. The HK22 - Cohesion Pearl cover gives this ball more back-end motion than the Black Widow 2.0 Hybrid. I have used it on both house and sport patterns, and it looks great on both. This ball works best in heavy to medium oil.

Widow Mania is by far the most versatile Widow to date in my opinion. Its easy length through the fronts make it useful for all styles. Couple that with HK22 Cohesion cover, which finds and controls down lane friction, makes this ball close to a perfect piece of equipment. I would suggest your favorite layout and watch the Mania do its thing. It's smooth out of your hand and angular at the pins. My layout for my lighter oil patterns is 80 x 4 1/2 x 60 The out of box surface has been sufficient thus far.

My favorite Widow by far. If you are reading this, just get it, you won't be disappointed.

The Black Widow Mania is the newest addition to the Widow lineup, and this will not disappoint our Widow fans. Equipped with HK22C Pearl, the same cover that is on the Hammer Effect, this ball is cleaner and has incredible backend! My layout was 70x 4 1/4x35. The Mania gets down lane easiest out all the Widows, but doesn't miss the spot at all in the backends and has terrific recovery and continuation. It's also cleaner than the Hammer Effect, which is to be expected as the core in the Effect is earlier, but the covers definitely share similar characteristics. The Cohesion additive also ensures that while the motion is much cleaner, it will still respond in oil and not finish behind the headpin.
