first ball I ever got and since I switched to 2 handed instead of 1 handed I have learned that if I throw the ball out further than it will work with me.
Simply put I have 3 of these drulled and in rotation in my tournament aresenal. I have 2 drilled with the pin under my middle finger with the bias 1.5 inches to the right of my thumb. These 2 have different surfaces on them. So I can stay in the same zone for as long as possible with keeping the same shape. The 3rd one is drilled with pin in middle finger with bias out on my val line. For me when I want a later reacting ball this piece is my go to! Based on pattern length I will adjust the surface from time to time. Great ball for league and tournament play. I've been a big fan of ANYTHING that says Tour on it from Hammer.
I drilled this one like my obsession, pin up and stayed in my area all day!! Strong finish, long and straight.
Nice controllable piece that you will see on the lanes almost everywhere you go. Very versatile piece that can fit every game. Due to my higher ball speed I hit it with a lil more surface to get my desired motion and a bigger gap between this and my 3d offset. Two phenomenal benchmark balls that I recommend you add to your bag. This ball is so good that I predict it’s life cycle will be longer then most balls.
The Obsession Tour has been an extremely reliable benchmark solid for me to really get a good read on the oil patterns and starting point for the set. While it’s core is the same shape as the Obsession, the Tour has a lower differential, so less flare and more controllable reaction. As with most ‘tour’ type balls it excels on difficult patterns where you need to control the lane from front to back, but it’s also a great benchmark ball on house shots too. I drilled this one 60 x 4 x 30 and kept at the box finish of 500 / 1000 Siaair and it gives me controllable hook and the ability to play multiple angles some too. https://youtube.com/shorts/u_Ljc6lYrPM
