Hammer was the first to bring you the sought-after ball reaction created by a low RG and low differential asymmetric bowling ball. Obsession and Envy Tour started it all, and now Hammer is excited to offer the same unbeatable concept, upgraded with the Effect’s core body. Eliminating the Radial Disc from the bottom of the Huntsman core lowered the differential and intermediate differential, creating optimum numbers worthy of being Hammer’s next tour ball. We’ve returned to the Tour covers, using TourV3 Solid, helping the Effect Tour combat medium conditions and creating a predictable, smooth, and continuous ball motion.

    I wish I could rate it higher

    When I first received this ball, I knew I was gonna be something I liked. With my high rev rate I have always been fond of low differential balls. However, I never imagined the ball to slow down or be as early as it is which makes this ball an option for both house shots and heavier volumes of oil. This ball checks off every box the I look for in a ball and would rate it 10 STARS if I could. Currently on my 2nd one!

    Perfect ball for tougher conditions! This ball has a very early and predicable ball motion. The surface makes it look stronger than it is. Very controllable on medium/heavy lane conditions. If your looking for a smooth and predictable ball that doesn't over hook this is it.

    Back with the Tour

    Very good compliment to the Effect pearl. More smooth and predictable than the pearl. I have this ball blending the pattern better than the pearl. Earlier and smoother off the spot. Great ball to start the day with, once I had to move too much inside the pearl took over without hesitation. Anyone looking for something that is a little less than the pearl and not as sharp or responsive in the friction this ball is perfect. Duller cover really reads the lane fantastic.

    The new Hammer Effect Tour is here. Following up the Effect in the High Performance line is a “smoother”version of the 2024 ball of the year. This ball does not disappoint. Much like the popular Envy Tour, this one is about 2-3 more boards of more hook, which equates to more hold area. Given the hard hitting Huntsman Tour - lower differential core, and extra dynamics behind this one, there is expectation for optimal pin carry. This ball has a defined midlane to backend continuation towards the pocket that unleashes its power. This is definitely a ball for both league and tournament bowler on high to medium oil patterns.
