I got back into bowling a about 2 years ago and always had hand me down bowling balls. I saw the Ruthless and it was over. I am a 2 fingers bowler. This ball has great control. 2 weeks ago I got my first 300 and my highest series of my career with a 791. This ball is worth every penny spent.
Lefty Here and glad I am, as I usually have clean untracked oil....
Anywhooots, I usually throw a Red Hammer Vibe and was so used to how it rolled thru the front and back ends.
Now that I have a Ruthless, and after many difficult times/conditions on how to throw, I start a little closer to the line and change nothing else....solid front end...and blasts thru the back end and I am happy with my purchase. Little tweaks here and there...but overall happy!
BTW, I still use the Red Hammer Vibe as needed!
The ne Ruthless is a must have bench mark ball. It is a great value for the price, very versatile, and not overly angular off of the back of the pattern.
I drilled mine pin over bridge. (5" from PAP) this is the same way I drilled my Flawless. It allows me to start with this ball on the fresh and blends the wet-dry patterns.
The Hammer Ruthless bowling ball, for me, has been great on fresh oil patterns, allows me to play up the boards or even migrate inside later and still get the continuous roll down the lane. It's classified as a mid-performance ball, but it plays like a high-performance ball.
Right Handed

The Hammer Ruthless with the Juiced coverstock lives up to its name. I have my Ruthless drill with pin up and to the right of the fingers.. My Axis Point is X=4 1/8” Y=15/16”. It is just overall strong, midland and the backend. It gets through the heads clean, but just annihilates the pins. This ball will always be in my bag and should be in yours as well. If you want a strong symmetrical ball, this one is for you.
