Hammer's new performance spare, the Tough, brings together a touch of new technology wrapped around a bit of old. By combining our new Polythane coverstock with a traditional pancake core, featuring carbon fiber, Hammer brings you the toughest spare ball ever produced. We're backing it up with a three year warranty.

POLYTHANE

We developed our latest coverstock formulation with one thought in mind: durability. Our new Polythane cover offers the performance of a polyester ball with the durability of a urethane ball.

PANCAKE CORE

This is the traditional core design found in the typical spare ball, but with carbon fiber added. It features a high RG and low differential to keep flare and hook potential low.

Increased My Scores Immediately

This ball is not only tough but great for spares. I found that my 9, 10 pin spares were too inconsistent with my reactive balls. I purchased this and immediately saw improvement in my game. I am now confident in my spare shooting ability and my average keeps going up. The ball will hook a few boards or more if desired; which has pros/Cons depending on your style. That being said, I certainly make a lot more spares than I miss with this ball.
I would recommend this ball to anyone at any level.

Great ball for shorter patterns

Very reliable ball. Wish there was a durometer measurement here. Whatever makes it durable also makes it very soft for plastic.

if you don't break your wrist it's gonna hook at least a few boards.

Very soft cover, will hook more than any other plastic ball. Might as well use urethane.

DURABLE

It's a spare ball what's to review? Well Hammer has made a ball that is great for those who shoot spares straight on AND introduced polythane. Unfortunately plastic almost always inevitably cracks, thus polythane was born. This ball will help your spare game and LAST period!

Get tough

Absolutely love this ball goes perfectly strait for your spares. But you can also hit it with some surface and it becomes a great dry lane ball!
