As someone that loves both the Web Tour line as well as the stand alone Web series, this Web Pearl is simply another predictable motion that I can manipulate in many small ways with hand/wrist positions. Typically, when bowling on a house pattern, if I flat 7 a couple of times with something like an Obsession Tour or Web Tour I will immediately go to the Web Pearl and have full confidence in trusting that it will be cleaner with more "pop" or "bounce" when it goes to change directions. Not that I hook it very much, with my sub-300 rev rate, but when I do it is almost always with this go-to option when I have to start opening up my angles.
The Hammer Web Pearl is a great addition to the hammer line up. This remake of the original Web Pearl is ALOT better overall. The new Web Pearl is more angular and a lot more continuation through the pins. When the lanes get tight downlane, this is the ball to go to. This ball is great on house shots and a variety of sport conditions. The Web Pearl takes surface adjustments well. (sanded or polished). Another hit in the Hammer Web Series.
This ball has quickly become one of my favorite pearl symmetrical. It gets through the front of the lane effortlessly and has a nice sweeping backend with great continuation through the pins. I find this to be one of the first balls out of my bag on any medium conditions
This new Web Pearl is my “go to” ball! It gives me angular movement, good length through the fronts, strong mid-lane read and still punishes the pins on the backend. This ball works great for me on the carry down!
The new version of the Web Pearl from Hammer is here. The Web Pearl is easy through the fronts and has a nice continuation movement in the back part of the lane. For me; I see this ball in play on medium to lighter house patterns. When I see a ball that I can play up the lane, I know carry will be optimal. This ball stores energy well. The Jade/Smoke color combination is neat too. Be sure to check out the Hammerbowling website for more information.
