Fugitive Solid

The Fugitive Solid is a great addition to the Fugitive Line! If you are a fan of symmetrical bowling balls and are in need of a solid, look no further! On fresh conditions, this ball will help get through the oil and still have you the backend drive and power. The backend controllable reaction allows you to keep your angles tight and read the transition very well! I drilled my Fugitive Solid 60 x 4 3/4 x 30.

The Fugitive Solid is Hammer’s new mid-performance release. Following up on the Fugitive Pearl, the Fugitive Solid features the same core, but wrapped in a solid formulation coverstock and comes with a 500/2000 sanded box finish. Intended for medium to heavier oil patterns, the very eye-catching blue, orange, and black Fugitive Solid can be a choice for the vast majority of bowlers.

I drilled my Fugitive Solid with my most common layout, 50 x 5” x 35 or 5” x 4” x 2.5” if you use the vector layout system. They say you only get one chance at a first impression and my first impression of the Fugitive Solid was a positive one! I enjoy seeing bowling balls like this that read the midlane and continue well once they hit the pins. This is a bowling ball I can see adding surface to for longer and more volume patterns and one that I like once it lane shines. Fugitive Solid is going to be a pretty good “benchmark” and “all purpose” type bowling ball in my bag. I’m excited to throw this release more and see what it is truly capable of!

Comparing this to the Fugitive Pearl, it is similar in total hook. Fugitive Solid with its surface sees the lane earlier and less on the backend in contrast to the Fugitive Pearl. As to be expected, this is a beefed up version of the solid Vibe (Orange) and also an awesome “ball down” from the Redemption Solid and Web Tour releases.Sometimes the mid-performance bowling balls get overlooked, but this one is not one to sleep on!

Hammer does It again. Continuing a rich history of fantastic mid line solids with the Fugitive Solid! This is the sequel to the Fugitive pearl that came out earlier in 2019. The solid gives more up front reaction with a smoother predictable down lane. Where the pearl was super clean and snappy down lane, the Fugitive solid handles more oil and fresh conditions with ease.

I have this ball drilled pin up about 4.5 inches from my axis. When I want to refresh the surface a bit I hit with a fresh 2000 grit abralon by hand. This brings back the grip in the mid lane and. predictability down lane. I have not had a lot of success going really steep with this ball, but when I keep my angles straighter through the front, It is incredible.

THIS NEW UPPER MID PERFORMANCE BOWLING BALL WILL BE A GREAT TOURNAMENT BALL TO ADD TO YOUR ARSENAL. THIS BALL IS GREAT IN THE OIL HAVE BOWLED ON A FEW TOURNAMENT PATTERNS WITH HEAVIER VOLUME OF OIL WILL GET DOWN LANE AND DRIVES THROUGH THE PINS..VERY SMOOTH AND CONTROLLABLE REACTION WONT OVERHOOK..JUST MAKE SURE TO KEEP THE SPEED UP TO THE RIGHT OR MOVE LEFT AND PLAY AN INSDE LINETO THE POCKET...ALL YOU HAMMER BOWLING FANS WILL LOVE THIS NEW ADDITION!
