Hammer is proud to offer the broadest range of core and cover options in bowling. We are excited to enhance the product line by adding a “big” shiny symmetric ball, the Hazmat. The Hazmat is a lower RG and higher Differential core that will help the ball pick up in the mid-lane and have a strong and continuous down-lane motion. The base cover is the extremely popular and highest-performing HK22, and we’ve used the Symtex Hybrid additives. The core and cover combination of the Hazmat creates a big hooking and never quitting ball motion that bowlers love to see.

    What A Great Ball

    On 3/28/2025 I took the Hammer Hazmat and rolled a perfect game. 300 game and a 713 series. This was my first ever 300 game and first ever 700.

    nothing better than Hammer.

    My Hazmat layout 50 x 6 x 40 and resurfaced to 2000 no polish and tears the lane up with heavy to medium oil. the Hazmat with the Raw is a 10 pin knockout. If they had it two different colors I get one in opposite color and set up different layout.

    Best bowling ball ever

    The hammer hazmat is the best bowling ball for a kid who is averaging 168 and bowled a 182 - 230 - 204 for a 616 series

    This ball is absolutely amazing it has so much hook worth the money for sure, it is my favorite bowling ball in my bag currently.

    The Semtex hybrid coverstock helps push the ball through the front portion of the lane. The lower RG, 2.479, helps the ball read the midlane, and delivers downlane where it reads the end of the pattern and makes a strong left turn, but does not stop hooking. The ball is very continuous through the pin deck. It is a ball that is sneaky clean through the front of the lane, and the .055 differential give it more than ample change of direction to attack from steep angles. Good option to play a league condition all set, and great option for later in the day of tournaments or challenge patterns.
