The Scorpion is the next must-have for Hammerheads. We started with the LED core that has made the urethane Hammers so successful and added an outer core, providing a medium RG and a high Differential. The Scorpion uses Symtex Hybrid to create a strong mid-lane and backend on medium conditions. Strong, predictable, and deadly.

What can I say

This ball is very predictable. I use it as my benchmark ball to determine how oily the lanes are. With the right conditions this ball has a nice smooth curve and catches to drive through the pins nicely down lane.

Great reaction!

This ball has proven to be one of my favorite on longer patterns! I f thrown right it falls right in the pocket with a strong punch. The hook is a very readable hook which I prefer. On shorter patterns this ball will overly hook if throwing from the wrong mark. But otherwise its an amazing ball!

It bites!

My league average is 126 bowling with a 1990’s urethane Columbia shadow. I think I can finally retire this ball. First practice game with scorpion I scored 5 strikes and ended with a 157. I can roll it straight as an arrow or put it in the pocket. It’s perfectly balanced. It does exactly what you tell it. Can’t wait till league! This is my second hammer ball. The hammer raw was good but I mistakenly ordered it too light for my needs. I’ll probably gift it.

More than a year and still great!

I got my scorpion as a Christmas present in 2021, I am still using it in 2023 and it is such a great ball, hope Hammer doesn't discontinue this because it is such a great ball for high friction and med-heavy house shots. This ball lets me start with it and end with it because of the finish.
