The Web is a strong symmetric benchmark type performer. My goto on a lot of different patterns. I have drilled one strong (4x3) and one weaker (5 1/2x 4) to compliment each other and create two reactions without changing covers... The Web is Hammers first ball out of the bag for most conditions and styles..
Hey y'all.... Stefanie Johnson here... this ball has the WOW factor for me!
I have primarily used it on medium to heavier volume patterns and this ball gets through the pins like a truck. It has a strong midlane motion with a continuous backend as well. A must have if you are missing something for these types of patterns!!!
This is by far my favorite ball to throw on medium volume conditions, house or sport. It's clean through the fronts and picks up just enough in the midlane to not shoot through the breakpoint. OTB the down-lane motion was sharper than I expected, but once I tamed the cover with a surface adjustment it was lights out after that. I always feel like I know what it's going to do as soon as it leaves my hand, which is exactly what a player needs in his or her tournament arsenal.
A Very Impressive Symmetrical Hybrid BOWLING Ball..Mid Lane Continuation Ball With Backend Drive Through The Pins..Good For Medium To Heavier Volume Oil Patterns Play Alot Straighter Angles To The Pocket..Very Versatile Ball To The Pocket And Still Drives Through The Pins..Get Caught Up In The Web #hammerbowling #nothinghitslikeahammer
With the box surface of 2000, this ball needs some oil up front to be effective. It's definitely not a ball for burned up heads. In saying that, I would suggest this ball for medium volume since it is a hybrid. You get the best of both worlds with the cover and core combinations. The core does not get going until after the midlane. I love how this ball stores energy for the backend. Hammer has found a winning combination here. This is must have.
