Eliminating the Radial Disc from the bottom of the Huntsman core lowered the differential and intermediate differential, creating optimum numbers worthy of being Hammer’s next tour ball. Hammer hits hard

Hammer head from the 80's. I used this to compliment the other "effect" balls o have. Shot 300 with this one a week ago. It did not disappoint playing the inside line I had for the night. 300 was the last game of a solid 773 series. I truly enjoy this effect line.

Hammer Effect Tour

TourV3 Solid cover wrapped around the altered Huntsman core, creates a SMOOTH rolling ball to control the oil/dry line on some of those tricky patterns and over/under house shots. This is the closest ball reaction I've found while trying to replace my Web Tours. (yes multiple)

First new ball in years...

Getting back into the sport after 8 years away. I did a lot of researching of the various brands, balls etc., and narrowed it down to a couple options. After discussing my game, previous equipment, etc. I went with his recommendation and chose the Hammer Effect Tour over a competing ball.

Since I did not have a ball to take my old layout off of, or even know my PAP yet, we went with a fairly generic layout, pin up over ring finger.

I'm right-handed, so I started off on board 20 and 2nd arrow. It took me a few shots to get my rhythm and timing back, but the ball helped when I missed my target board, and I did ok for not having bowled in 8 years.
When I decided to move left and go more through the oil is when I really started to see what this ball was capable of. It maintained more energy and had a lot more motion on the back end and started slamming the pins back. With a few more practice sessions to work all my cobwebs out, I can see I'll be very happy with the Hammer Effect Tour once I start league bowling again.

Versatility

I was extremely excited when they announced the hammer effect tour. The envy tour was a great addition to the hammer line but this ball gives me obsession tour vibes. Using the huntsman core from extremely successful effect without the puck and the tour v3 cover brought this thing alive. I’m looking forward to getting the lane shine on this piece and see how it blends out. This is an easy addition to anyone’s bag and will be very useful on a variety of conditions.

An Effect-ive gift

Oh man! Since switching to 2 handed, I've been looking for a new benchmark ball and this is it! The Widow 2.0 Hybrid is a bit too strong for me now. I love playing Purple/Pink Widow Urethane, but can only do that until I push too much oil downlane. Same with my Purple Hammer. This ball hits like a sack of bricks! It has a smooth arc rather than a hockey stick reaction that the HK22 balls I throw have. love it!!
