Hammer Effect Tour

Getting back into the sport after 8 years away. I did a lot of researching of the various brands, balls etc., and narrowed it down to a couple options. After discussing my game, previous equipment, etc. I went with his recommendation and chose the Hammer Effect Tour over a competing ball.

Since I did not have a ball to take my old layout off of, or even know my PAP yet, we went with a fairly generic layout, pin up over ring finger.

I'm right-handed, so I started off on board 20 and 2nd arrow. It took me a few shots to get my rhythm and timing back, but the ball helped when I missed my target board, and I did ok for not having bowled in 8 years.
When I decided to move left and go more through the oil is when I really started to see what this ball was capable of. It maintained more energy and had a lot more motion on the back end and started slamming the pins back. With a few more practice sessions to work all my cobwebs out, I can see I'll be very happy with the Hammer Effect Tour once I start league bowling again.

I was extremely excited when they announced the hammer effect tour. The envy tour was a great addition to the hammer line but this ball gives me obsession tour vibes. Using the huntsman core from extremely successful effect without the puck and the tour v3 cover brought this thing alive. I’m looking forward to getting the lane shine on this piece and see how it blends out. This is an easy addition to anyone’s bag and will be very useful on a variety of conditions.

Oh man! Since switching to 2 handed, I've been looking for a new benchmark ball and this is it! The Widow 2.0 Hybrid is a bit too strong for me now. I love playing Purple/Pink Widow Urethane, but can only do that until I push too much oil downlane. Same with my Purple Hammer. This ball hits like a sack of bricks! It has a smooth arc rather than a hockey stick reaction that the HK22 balls I throw have. love it!!

The Effect Is A Great Ball On The Fresh But Sometimes Just Doesnt Carry The Corners But By Drilling Up A Solid Version Of This Ball Definitely Get A Little More Backend Drive Through The Pins. This Ball Is Super Smooth Down Lane This Ball Is Very Versatile For Any Bowler Type And Rev Rate. With This Effect Tour Solid I Definitely Can Start Further To The Right With This Ball For A Few Games When Transition Hits Just Migrate Left On The Approach And Still Saves Energy And Drives Though The Pins. This Ball Is Definitely The First Ball Out Of My Bag And One Of My Benchmark Ball Options. Great Combination With This And Original Effect Once The Solid Burns Up A Little Energy Later On The Block Easily Able To Switch To The Original. Hammer Comes Out With Another Winner With The Effect Tour Solid Glad I Have This In My Bag Probably Gonna Drill Up Another One With A Different Layout! Now this ball def lives up to the hype!! If you need something when your symmetric pieces arent enough but want the similar shape but more.....this is the ball for you! Versatility is the best word for it!
