Hammer Special Effect

Having owned the original Hammer Effect and the Effect Tour, I was very excited hen this ball released. Now that I have had the opportunity to throw this ball for a while, I can say that I've never had a family of balls that I have fallen in love with more! I would compare this Special Effect more to the original rather than to the Effect Tour. I have been able to use this ball up the lane and from the inside out depending on how early the friction is. The one constant that always stays the same, is that you can trust this ball will finish at the end of the lane.

I'm about to turn 70. After years of struggling with oily lanes, and barely able to keep my avg in the 150s, I bought the Special Effect. The difference was incredible. In the month I've had it my avg has been in the 180s ( no exaggeration), including a 254 and a 231, And I'm getting better the more I use it. For the 1st 2 weeks in May, 9 of 18 games have been 190+ ( 5x 200+) More 200s in one month than in the four previous months combined. I. Love. This. Ball!
