The Melted Artic

The Artic Vibe is the third bowling ball I've owned; and, it is by far, the worst ball I've owned. My first ball, way back in the 1990's was a 16lb Black Hammer; a great ball. My second ball was a 15lb Melee with huge hook. The Artic Vibe is does not even belong on the lane. It has barely any hook, in fact, I took a plastic house ball, and made it hook more than the Vibe. I'm sorry Hammer, but you missed it with this one. The Artic has melted, and it just meander's aimlessly.

Unbelievable Price Point….Top Shelf Performance! The New Hammer Arctic Vibe

The Hammer Vibe line has to be one of the most underrated ball lines on the market. The Ocean Vibe is a ball that just surprised any bowler who threw the ball. Well, Hammer has done it again by releasing the new Hammer Arctic Vibe, and yes…IT’S A HYBRID!!! The Arctic Vibe has the new HK22 CT Reactive Max Hybrid coverstock giving the ball incredible ball movement and hitting power through the pins. Like previous balls in the Vibe line, this ball is predictable, clean and provides any bowler consistency on various lane conditions. The Arctic Vibe works very well on medium lane conditions, but many bowlers have used it on heavy oil. The solid hybrid coverstock allows any bowler to see mid-lane roll and dynamic hitting power off the spot. This ball is just incredible! Bowlers at all levels will definitely see the ball shape and allow for any adjustments necessary to get the ball to the pocket. This is my second ball in the Vibe line I have thrown, and I can definitely say that there will always be a Vibe line bowling ball in my arsenal at all times. I am still really impressed on how clean and predictable this ball really is. I strongly recommend this ball to bowlers at all levels. You will not be disappointed on this ball’s performance.

Love the color combination on this ball. The Arctic definitely gets down the lane and is responsive at the break. Great ball for beginners and tournament players trying to round out their arsenal on the low end.

Best Backend Vibe to Date

The new artic vibe with HK22 has the most ball motion in any vibe to date. If you want backend ball motion this is the ball for you. You will get a lot of performance for the price point on the Artic Vibe. The cool white and purple colors really makes the Artic stand out going down the lane. You may want to touch the surface a little to get the Artic to start up a little sooner and try to tame the back down. Another great Vibe edition to the Hammer line up.
