Originally, we tamed this monster shell by using a symmetric core, but now we've developed the new 
asymmetric Gauntlet core specifically for this beast. 
 
Of course, the new Gauntlet features Hammer's patent pending carbon fiber infusion in both the outer core and the coverstock, making the Gauntlet one of the toughest, most durable balls on the planet.
 

The Gauntlet will change direction down lane quicker and harder than the Scandal, so get ready to run the Gauntlet.

best ball I have ever owned

The Gaunlet is the best ball i have ever owned. for a full two season nothing found a line and chased the pocket like this ball in my 25 years of bowling. this ball put 25 pins on my average alone. Unfortunately like all other balls its lost its luster and i meed a replacement that can do the jog like this.

11-18-19 I shoot a 299 less than a month later 12-16-19 a 300 my 2nd one with a hammer first one with a No Mercy on 2-13-17.

Wow this ball is strong

The gauntlet is the strongest ball I've ever had hands down. This thing will hook on ice! I have a 3 3/8 pin on mine with a weight hole and this ball moves on anything. If you're looking for a HP ball for heavy oil conditions, don't look any further. A 50ft flat shot has nothing on this monster!
