Obsession

Pick up a NEW Obsession!

The Obsession and Obsession Tour have the same core shape; however, the Tour edition differential is .016 points lower, creating less flare, less hook, and a more controllable reaction compared to the regular Obsession.

OBSESSION

The Obsession has a new strong formula called Envy Solid CFI, where we’ve gone back to infusing the shell with carbon fiber. Featuring DOT technology, which allows you to drill anywhere which makes this ball even tougher.

Love this ball, one of the rolliest balls I've ever thrown

Picked up an Obsession on sale because wanted to see what a Hammer heavy asymm looks like. Not to be a shill, but I love this ball. One of the rolliest balls I've ever thrown. This ball is digging and trying to read before it leaves your hand. And when you play with surface, you can dial in this ball to do just about anything. I also love the big mother loving core that blasts through the deck and has one of the noticeably biggest pin action hits in my arsenal. Has one of the most distinctive shapes. And I can't emphasize how rolly this ball is enough. Just toss it at the breakpoint and let the ball do the work. One of the easiest to throw, highest performing balls I've ever experienced.

This ball does require some regular maintenance, as it will lose performance and dull into become weak over time. However, hitting it with a 1500 or 2000 pad when performance noticeably declines along with regular ball maintenance should keep it nice and lively for you.

From the Vibe I went to this Obsession Solid, and has been great!!
I am not a pro-bowler or anything like that, but I will recommend
this ball to anyone, very easy to control, with a very high potential.
If you had never use a Asymmetric bowling ball, try this one.
Top of the class, and full of Satisfactions for you.

Great Out of Box.... But it died.

Average Speed: 17 - 18 mph. Average revs: 500+ I've had this ball for maybe 5 months. It was my go to ball for league since we always bowl on fresh. The thing was an absolute monster. I could drop it on the left corner and shoot it out to the 5 board at the break point and it would come back and absolutely murder the pocket. BUT NOW...... it is my weakest ball. The thing died only after 5 months. In order to hit the pocket now, I have to shoot up the 5-10 board. I tried a full resurface and that helped for maybe a few games, but its not the ball it used to be. Might try a detox and resurface next.

    WOW!

This ball hooks A LOT! Perfect ball for heavy oil when you can’t quite get anything else to react. Creates great shape that gets through the oil and hits like a truck. Easily a go to on long and heavy oil patterns to help me burn a line before balling down to my Obsession Tour. These two balls definitely make a great pair! Head to your local pro shop and try one today, you will be OBSESSED!

    Should be named "The Monster!"

This ball is a monster! It reads the mids like a librarian but it doesn't stop there! It continues like nothing I have ever thrown. If you find yourself needing to play inside of everyone else but don't have anything that will make the corner and still continue, this ball NEEDS to be in your bag. The only bad thing I have to say about it is that you might be shooting at a lot of "9" pins (if you are right handed) because this ball does not deflect at all when it hits the pocket. In other words, it has a tendency to blow right by the "9" pin like a heat seeking missile to through the 5-8 (again, for right handed players) I have about 10 games with it so far and I have yet to leave a "10" pin because it is so continuous (believe it or not). My layout is 45 x 4 3/8 x 40. I am a high track, average RPM (375-400) player. So, this layout gives me great control with TONS of continuation.
